West End is busiest of all the tourist areas on
Roatan. Many small hotels, dive shops, restaurants, and shops are located within a
small area along the beach road. The are several restaurants in this area and
some are
discussed below. Not every restaurant is listed.

Bite on
the Beach over looks West Bay beach and has a large open air seating
deck. Daily specials and
fresh seafood. You'll enjoy the local
water taxis zooming just past the ocean side deck! Closed Monday and Tuesday and the
kitchen closes at 8 PM. |

Brick Oven is located up the hill
from the main road in West End. Pizza is the specialty.
There is another location along the main road to Coxen Hole before Anthony's Key
Resort. |

Cannibal Cafe is
located just down the main street from Salt & Pepper's. Small restaurant
with an upper deck with great views of ocean. Local island style food is
served. Specialties include Kevin's Big Kahuma Burrito made with fish, chicken, or
steak. Open for lunch and dinner daily except for Sunday. Kayaks are available
for rent here. |

Dian's Garden of Eat'n is located at its new location about
one kilometer up the West Bay road from West End. This is an excellent
restaurant above the gift shop. Delightful seating area and daily
specials are served. The menu does change but the food is great.
If you have the time during your stay, this is the place to try. Closed
Sunday and Monday. Open from 5:30 to 9 PM, reservations suggested at
368-1098. |

Eagle Rays Restaurant is
out over the water above the Suena Del Mar dive shop. Great views of West End and
bay area. |

Half
Moon Bay Cabins restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and
dinner on a daily basis. Full international bar service and continental cuisine with
service available on the deck over the beach. Coconut shrimp, Grouper, and
lobster and pasta dishes are served daily. |

Lighthouse Restaurant
is out on the peninsula near the church and has good food. Open for breakfast,
lunch, and dinner. Good island food at inexpensive prices.
Try the fish burrito for lunch. |

The Lobster Pot Restaurant is located
between West End and West Bay on the beach. Look for the anchored
sailboats and you will have the approximate location along the beach.
This is the place for lobster omelets and fresh baked breads. This is
the hang out for breakfast with the "yachties". The lobster omelet is
very big and very good! The down side of this good food is service can
be slow. Be patient, you will be happy after you get your meal. |

Pinocchio's is
located up the hill from the main road in West End. Open every evening except
Wednesday. Local island food is served along with a variety of desert crepes. |

Pura Vida Restaurant
offers Italian, international cuisine, gourmet pizza, seafood of all types including
Lobster, Shrimp, Conch, Mahi Mahi, Grouper, and Snapper. Good atmosphere and music.
They are open daily 7:00 AM to 9:30 PM for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. |

Rudys is
located at Georphis Tropical Hideaway hotel, across the road from the beach.
Rudys opens at 6:30 AM for breakfast and during the day offers typical island
cuisine. They have banana pancakes and a wide variety of other breakfast
items. |
