Melvin Bodden during play time

Melvin Bodden has been recognized for community service. Melvin has received an award of community service by the Municipality and Citizens of Roatan for his donations of carvings around the municipal of Coxen Hole.  Melvin's carvings are becoming very popular with the visitors from the cruise lines and his works appear at many resorts in Roatan.  Look for carvings at the resorts and throughout the various shops on Roatan and along the main road.  You won't see any fancy signs and the display area is an open grass field.  As you are passing by Sandy Bay, look for the road sign below.  Melvin's home and display area are near the sign.  Don't expect a fancy shop.
